Recap: San Jose vs. Boston

San Jose, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - Tommy Wingels, Joe Pavelski and Tyler Kennedy each had two goals in the San Jose Sharks' 7-4 win over the Boston Bruins on Thursday.

Tomas Hertl also lit the lamp for the Sharks, who have won three in a row for the first time since a 3-0 start to the season. Antti Niemi made 20 saves.

"With our group, we're going to have to keep our foot on the gas pedal," said Sharks head coach Todd McLellan. "Tonight was a good moral boost."

Reilly Smith scored two goals for the Bruins, who have dropped three straight. Gregory Campbell and Torey Krug also lit the lamp.

Tuukka Rask allowed all seven goals on 44 shots.

"We had a lot of poor, poor performances from a lot of people tonight," said Bruins head coach Claude Julien. "You can't win hockey games that way."

The Sharks scored the final four goals of the game to claim victory. Pavelski made it 4-4 at 14:21 of the second when he tipped in Patrick Marleau's pass.

San Jose moved ahead for good at 3:02 of the third on Kennedy's second goal of the game. He deflected Matt Irwin's shot from above the left circle past Rask.

Pavelski scored his 12th goal of the season at 11:13 and Hertl capped the scoring at 15:44.

Earlier, the Bruins jumped out to a 2-0 lead 2:35 into the game. Patrice Bergeron passed to Smith while falling down and Smith completed the play 29 seconds in.

Campbell received a nice pass from Daniel Paille and lit the lamp at 2:35.

Wingels started a wild second period with a goal 27 seconds in. He deflected Marc-Edouard Vlasic's shot past Rask to bring San Jose within 2-1.

The Sharks tied it less than three minutes later when James Sheppard's shot hit Kennedy's skate and deflected past Rask. Kennedy came off the injured list Thursday.

Wingels scored a power-play goal at 7:30 to make it 3-2 San Jose. He redirected Irwin's shot from the point past Rask.

Smith and Krug scored at 8:13 and 12:33, respectively, to put Boston back in front.
