Recap: Minnesota vs. Dallas

St. Paul, MN (SportsNetwork.com) - Zach Parise led the way with two goals as the Minnesota Wild did all of its scoring in the third period en route to a 6-2 win over the Dallas Stars on Sunday.

Mikael Granlund finished with a goal and two assists and Mikko Koivu, Matt Dumba and Stephane Veilleux all lit the lamp for the Wild, who have won three straight games and five of their last six.

"We've been playing some good hockey lately," said Parise. "We're in the conversation now."

Devan Dubnyk made 18 saves and Christian Folin supplied two assists in the win.

Jason Spezza scored twice and Jhonas Enroth allowed all six goals on 35 shots for Dallas, which was coming off a tough 7-6 overtime loss to Detroit on Saturday.

"They're energy was a lot better than ours in the third," Stars head coach Lindy Ruff said.

The Wild started their dominant offensive frame with two goals early in the third.

Parise's one-timer tied the game at 1:40 of the final frame and Koivu's wrister from a severe angle on the left side squirted through Enroth's pads to give the hosts a 2-1 lead.

Veilleux tipped Marco Scandella's feed past Enroth to make it a 3-1 game with 11:19 to play and Dumba's rising shot on the power play gave the Wild a three- goal lead with 6:35 left in regulation.

Minnesota wasn't finished as Granlund scored just over a minute later after he took a lead pass from Folin, moved the puck from his backhand to his forehand and finished off his breakaway by wristing a shot past Enroth's blocker.

Parise took a Dallas turnover and backhanded it through Enroth's pads for a 6-1 game with 2:08 to go, but Spezza accounted for the final score 25 seconds later.

After a scoreless first period, Spezza's right-circle blast on the power play gave Dallas the lead with 5:27 left in the middle stanza.
