Recap: San Jose vs. Vancouver

Stockton, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - Joe Thornton had two goals and the San Jose Sharks beat the Vancouver Canucks 5-2 in a preseason game Tuesday night.

Joe Pavelski, Barclay Goodrow and Nikolay Goldobin also scored for the Sharks, while the Canucks got one goal each from Nick Bonino and Nicklas Jensen.

The teams played two split-squad games on Tuesday with the Canucks winning the earlier game 4-2 in Vancouver.

Peyton Manning will have to make do without his blind-side protector for the 2015 season, as the Denver Broncos announced that Pro Bowl left tackle Ryan Clady tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee during Wednesday's OTA session.
