Recap: Calgary vs. Vancouver

Calgary, AB (SportsNetwork.com) - Hunter Shinkaruk posted a goal and an assist to help the Vancouver Canucks in a 3-1 win over the Calgary Flames in preseason action.

Chris Higgins and Nicklas Jensen each scored a goal for the Canucks, who also saw Nick Bonino add two assists. Eddie Lack stopped 20 shots in the first half of the game, while Joacim Eriksson allowed a goal on 11 shots in the second half.

Sean Monahan had the only goal of the game for the Flames. Jonas Hiller allowed two goals on 12 shots in two periods and Brad Thiessen allowed a goal on 11 shots in the third.
