Recap: Tampa Bay vs. Florida

Tampa, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - Steven Stamkos scored the go-ahead goal to lift the Tampa Bay Lightning to a 4-1 victory over the Florida Panthers in the preseason finale for both teams on Saturday.

Nikita Kucherov, J.T. Brown and Anton Stralman also lit the lamp for Tampa Bay, which had goaltender Ben Bishop stop 36-of-37 shots.

Aleksander Barkov supplied the lone goal for the Panthers and goaltender Al Montoya allowed all four goals on 28 shots in defeat.

The two teams will open up the regular season against each other in Tampa Bay on Thursday.
