Recap: Vancouver vs. Edmonton

Vancouver, BC (SportsNetwork.com) - Ryan Miller made 27 saves and the Vancouver Canucks beat the Edmonton Oilers 3-2 in the preseason finale for both teams.

Daniel Sedin, Chris Higgins and Radim Vrbata scored for Vancouver, which opens the season on the road next Wednesday against the Flames.

Nail Yakupov and Will Acton tallied for the Oilers, who also open their slate against Calgary a day later at home. Ben Scrivens made 15 saves in defeat.
