New York, NY (Sports Network) - Tampa Bay Lightning center Steven Stamkos, Pittsburgh Penguins center Sidney Crosby and Chicago Blackhawks goaltender Ray Emery have been named the NHL's 'Three Stars' for the month of February.

Stamkos was tabbed as First Star after posting 10 goals and 10 assists for 20 points in 14 games. He tied Winnipeg's Andrew Ladd for the most goals during February, scoring seven times during a six-game streak -- the longest in the NHL this season. He ended the month on an eight-game point streak, lifting him into the NHL scoring lead with 31 points.

Crosby garnered the Second Star honor after leading the NHL with 18 assists and 24 points during the month. He recorded six three-point performances and registered at least one point in 11 of 14 games.

Emery picked up the Third Star after helping the Blackhawks to the best start in NHL history at 17-0-3 entering Friday's action. He was 7-0-0 with a 1.66 goals-against average and .941 save percentage in eight games during February.
