Scott Piercy held on with a two-putt par on the 18th to win his first PGA Tour title...Piercy earned an invitation to next week`s PGA Championship with the victory. He had not been qualified previously...Next week is the final major championship of 2011 for the PGA Tour. Martin Kaymer beat Bubba Watson by one stroke in a three-hole playoff to win the PGA Championship last year. That came after Dustin Johnson was penalized for grounding his club in a bunker on the 72nd hole to lose his spot in the playoff.

Chip Ganassi Racing claims sixth win in Rolex 24 at Daytona

IndyCar Series drivers Scott Dixon and Tony Kanaan as well as NASCAR Sprint Cup Series competitors Jamie McMurray and Kyle Larson gave Chip Ganassi Racing the victory in Sunday's 53rd running of the Rolex 24 at Daytona.

Seahawks to win second straight Super Bowl

Based on last year's victory over Denver, it is hard to imagine Seattle as an underdog for a second straight Super Bowl. However, that is the scenario as New England is favored by one point for Sunday's game.
