Wayne, PA (Sports Network) - PGA Professionals and Golf Genius Software collaborated the last 12 months to create GolfLeagueGenius.com.

The software is the first web-based golf league software designed to reduce the time demands of golf league managers, while providing a fun and interactive experience for league members.

Among the things GolfLeagueGenius was created to help league managers for were to minimize time spent managing player rosters, pairings and event scheduling, tournaments and scoring, updating Handicap Indexes.

"With GolfLeagueGenius, league managers can have the best of both worlds. They receive a best-in-class, fully-functional league management system, plus the ability to support and enhance the community aspect of golf leagues with innovative social features that increase member engagement and participation," said Golf Genius Software CEO Mike Zisman.

Also included in the software is automatic updating of players handicap via GHIN and GolfNet, while league managers can update their season-long schedules in mere minutes.

GolfLeagueGenius.com members can also assist league managers by loading their scorers real-time into a smartphone app.
