Pereira, Colombia (Sports Network) - American Timothy O'Neal carded a 5-under 66 on Sunday to earn a 2-shot win at the Colombian Open.

O'Neal, who shared second place in Uruguay last week, finished at 16-under-par 268 at Club Campestre de Pereira.

He bogeyed the par-5 first, but came right back with a birdie on the second. O'Neal carded back-to-back birdies at six and seven to head to the back nine at minus-13.

After six pars in a row, O'Neal poured in three birdies in a 4-hole span from the 14th to soar to 16-under. He parred the last to earn his first Latinoamerican Tour title.

Oscar Serna also closed with a 66 to take second at minus-14. Last week's winner Jose de Jesus Rodriguez posted a 4-under 67 to grab third at 13-under- par 271.

Jose Manuel Garrido (65), Julio Santos (67) and Jesus Osmar (70) shared fourth place at minus-12.
