Zach Johnson and Steve Stricker, who both sat out The Barclays for personal reasons, are in the field this week, meaning every player in the top 100 of the FedExCup standings is expected to compete at TPC Boston.

This event runs from Friday to Monday, with Golf Channel handling full coverage of the first two rounds and early action on Sunday and Monday before handing off to CBS for the remainder of the coverage.

The PGA Tour is off next week before heading to Illinois for the BMW Championship, which McIlory won by a pair of strokes.

EUROPEAN TOUR

ISPS HANDA WALES OPEN, The Celtic Manor Resort, City of Newport, Wales -- The European Tour heads to the Celtic Manor Resort this week for the ISPS Handa Wales Open.

Last year, Thongchai Jaidee held on for a 1-stroke victory despite recording bogeys on two of his last three holes.

Jaidee is back in the field to defend his title, but many of the top European players are still in the United States for the FedExCup Playoffs. Players on hand can start earning points towards the next Ryder Cup at this event.

Golf Channel has coverage of all four rounds.

The tour heads to Switzerland next week for the Omega European Masters, which Richie Ramsay won last year.

LPGA TOUR

SAFEWAY CLASSIC, Columbia Edgewater Country Club, Portland, Oregon -- The LPGA Tour returns from Canada this week for the Safeway Classic in Portland, Ore.

Last year, Mika Miyazato carded a 2-under 70 during her final round to hold on for a 2-stroke victory and claim her first LPGA Tour title.

Miyazato will be back on hand this week, as will world No. 1 Inbee Park, who has six victories on tour this season.

Golf Channel will cover all four rounds of action.

The LPGA Tour is off next week before heading to France for the Evian Championship, which Park won in 2012.

CHAMPIONS TOUR

SHAW CHARITY CLASSIC, Canyon Meadows Golf & Country Club, Calgary, Alberta, Canada -- The Champions Tour moves to Canada this week for the inaugural Shaw Charity Classic.

Schwab Cup points leader Kenny Perry highlights a field which also includes Fred Couples, Steve Elkington, Mark O'Meara, Tom Lehman, Mark Calcavecchia and Fred Funk.

Golf Channel will have television coverage of all three rounds.

The Champions Tour remains in Canada next week for the Montreal Championship, which Calcavecchia won a year ago.

WEB.COM

HOTEL FITNESS CHAMPIONSHIP, Sycamore Hills Golf Club, Fort Wayne, Indiana -- The Web.com Tour Finals begin this week at Sycamore Hills Golf Club in Indiana.

The top 75 on the Web.com Tour money list, and players No. 126-200 on the PGA Tour's FedExCup points list will duke it out over a four-event playoff series for 50 available 2013-2014 PGA Tour cards.

Twenty-five PGA Tour cards have already been decided via the Web.com Tour regular-season money list, and those players will play for priority ranking, while the other competitors will play for the remaining 25 cards.

Money list No. 1 Michael Putnam highlights the Web.com Tour portion of the field, while PGA Tour players such as Ricky Barnes, Ryo Ishikawa and Trevor Immelman will battle to return to the major circuit.

Golf Channel will cover all four rounds this week.

The finals continue next week with the Chiquita Classic, which Russell Henley won last year.

PGA TOUR CANADA

THE WILDFIRE INVITATIONAL, Wildfire Golf Club, Peterborough, Ontario -- The PGA Tour Canada is in Ontario this week for the inaugural Wildfire Invitational.

The pro-am format features amateurs playing in teams with a pair of PGA Tour Canada professionals on Thursday and Friday, with the final 36 holes reserved for professional competition.

Next week, the tour will feature another new event, the Cape Breton Celtic Classic.
