Boca Raton, FL (Sports Network) - Abby Wambach scored two more goals to climb to within six of the all-time scoring record held by fellow American Mia Hamm, and the United States women's national team beat China, 4-1, on Saturday.

Wambach also scored twice in a 4-0 win over China on Wednesday and she wrapped up the year with two more to raise her career total to 152. Hamm scored 158 in her career.

A finalist for the women's FIFA World Player of the Year, Wambach finished the year with 27 goals. U.S. teammate Alex Morgan, also finalist for player of the year, led the team with 28 goals this year.

Megan Rapinoe and Sydney Leroux also scored Saturday night at Florida Atlantic University Stadium as the United States won for the 28th time against just one loss and three draws this year.

The United States won all three matches in a three-match series against China, as it finished its Fan Tribute Tour with eight wins and two draws. The United States tied Germany twice during the tour in a battle of the top two teams in the world. The United States is ranked No. 1.

The Americans won their third straight Olympic gold in August.
