East Rutherford, NJ ( - The New York Giants have reportedly agreed to terms with free agent linebacker Jameel McClain, while the team officially announced the signings of a pair of holdovers in linebacker Jon Beason and fullback Henry Hynoski.

The Giants have yet to confirm the addition of McClain, a six-year veteran who started 54 games for the Baltimore Ravens over the last four seasons. The 28- year-old revealed that he was headed to New York on a message posted on his Facebook page.

"To the city of Baltimore and its great fans -- even though I'm moving on to the big Apple, my community work is something that will carry on here -- as I will continue my commitment to change and to improve the lives of others!!," McClain wrote. "thank you for your support and encouragement ... you have made me a better person."

McClain, who had spent his entire NFL tenure in Baltimore and was a key member of the Ravens' Super Bowl XLVII championship in 2012, missed the first six games of last season while recovering from a career-threatening neck injury. He returned to start the club's final 10 contests, logging 52 tackles and one forced fumble.

He'll join a New York linebacker corps that also brings back Beason, who solidified the middle after being acquired from the Carolina Panthers last October. The three-time Pro Bowl selection tallied 93 tackles and one interception while starting 11 of the Giants' final 12 games.

The New York Daily News reported Thursday that Beason agreed to a three-year deal worth $19 million.

Hynoski played in just three games in 2013 before undergoing season-ending surgeries to his knee and shoulder. The blocking specialist will be entering his fourth season with the Giants after originally making the roster as an undrafted free agent in 2011.

Over 30 career games, Hynoski has recorded 24 catches totaling 138 yards with one touchdown.
