Orlando, FL (Sports Network) - Orlando Magic point guard Jameer Nelson is expected to miss at least two more games with a strained hamstring he suffered in the team's season opener.

Nelson incurred the injury during Orlando's 102-89 win over Denver on Friday and sat out Sunday's 115-94 victory over Phoenix as a result. The 2009 All- Star visited a doctor on Monday for further evaluation and is doubtful to travel with the team for a two-game road trip that begins Tuesday in Chicago.

The Magic will also visit Minnesota on Wednesday during the swing.

Nelson, Orlando's longest tenured player who is in his ninth season with the club, has averaged 12.4 points, 5.0 assists and 3.0 rebounds for his career. The 30-year-old had nine points and seven assists in 35 minutes against the Nuggets.

The Magic are already without another key starter, with forward Hedo Turkoglu sidelined a minimum of four weeks after fracturing his left hand in Friday's opener.

E'Twaun Moore started at point guard against the Suns and will continue to do so in the event Nelson remains out. The second-year pro has averaged 14.0 points and 4.5 assists through the season's first two games.
