Kansas City, MO ( - Kansas City Chiefs coach Andy Reid provided an injury update Monday on Pro Bowl linebackers Tamba Hali and Justin Houston.

Both players got hurt in Sunday's loss to the San Diego Chargers.

Houston has been diagnosed with a dislocated right elbow. Reid said the swelling on Houston's elbow did not allow him to undergo an MRI Monday. Houston will have to wait a day or two while the swelling subsides.

The news seems a lot better for Hali, who doesn't have a high-ankle sprain. Reid said that Hali's injury is a "slight" sprain.

The teammates have combined for 20 sacks this season.

Kansas City's defense has allowed an average of 34 points during a two-game losing streak.
