Glendale, AZ (Sports Network) - Safety Kerry Rhodes will play for the Arizona Cardinals in Monday's NFC West matchup with the San Francisco 49ers, but tight end Todd Heap will remain inactive with a lingering knee injury.

Rhodes sat out last week's 21-14 loss at Minnesota with a back injury and was listed as questionable on Arizona's injury report. Heap, who has been sidelined since Week 3, was also termed questionable after being a limited participant in practice this week, but will sit out a fifth consecutive contest.

John Skelton will start a third straight game at quarterback for the Cardinals with Kevin Kolb still recovering from a rib injury he sustained in a 19-16 overtime loss to Buffalo on Oct. 14.

Right guard Adam Snyder (quadriceps) and cornerback Greg Toler (hamstring) is also inactive for Arizona.

For the 49ers, left offensive tackle Joe Staley will play Monday despite being listed questionable with an illness.
