Denver, CO (Sports Network) - The Colorado Rockies agreed to terms with infielder Jonathan Herrera on a one-year contract for the 2013 season on Wednesday.

According to MLB.com, the deal is worth $900,000. Herrera, who was eligible for arbitration, had reportedly been seeking a $1 million salary, with the Rockies initially offering $800,000.

Herrera is a .259 hitter with seven home runs and 50 RBI and 11 stolen bases over four seasons with the Rockies. The 28-year-old switch-hitter batted .262 with three homers and 12 RBI in 86 games with Colorado in 2012.

The Rockies still have yet to reach agreements with two other potential arbitration cases, center fielder Dexter Fowler and starting pitcher Jhoulys Chacin.
