Second-seeded Russian Svetlana Kuznetsova overcame a shaky performance to best Sybille Bammer and reach the finals at the $2.1 million Pacific Life Open.

The 2004 U.S. Open champion and 2006 French Open runner-up Kuznetsova came from behind to beat the 33rd-seeded Austrian, 6-7 (5-7), 6-4, 6-1, at the beautiful Indian Wells Tennis Garden.

Kuznetsova's opponent in the finals will be Slovakia's Daniela Hantuchova, who defeated 12th-seeded Li Na of China, 7-5, 4-6, 6-1, in a hard fought match.

Hantuchova -- the 14 seed -- won the 2002 Indian Wells title.

The 2007 Indian Wells titlist will pocket $306,890.
