This week's flood waters increased the tension on yet another expected vote on the Chattanooga Village Development Project. The City council decided to push the vote back almost two weeks ago. It's a vote to rezone the Highway 153 hilltop area in Hixson for a multi-purpose development. Video

Just three weeks until the Chattanooga City Council votes on the rezoning of a hilltop area in Hixson. Plans are to develop the land into a 100 million dollar multi-use property called Chattanooga Village. Monday night, city leaders and developers heard dozens more questions and concerns from the community. Video

Hixson residents met with developers to get more answers about the Chattanooga Village Project. The Regional Planning Commission voted last night to move the project forward, and let it be heard by the City Council. Video
