The UTC Music Department is pleased to present “Beat Hunger” to benefit the Chattanooga Community Kitchen, featuring the UTC Percussion Ensemble, directed by Monte Coulter. The performance will take place in the Roland Hayes Concert Hall at the UTC Fine Arts Center, 752 Vine St., Chattanooga; on November 18 - 19 at 7:30 p.m. Admission to the concert is a $2.00 check donation to the Chattanooga Community Kitchen or two non-perishable food items. Works on the upcoming “Beat Hunger” concert feature composers; David Gillingham, Sir Edward Elgar, Brett Dietz, David Mancini, and Donna Summer.  A special appearance of Chattanooga's own bucket band, “Funkabuckets” will again be a highlight of this year's concert. We recommend early arrival as seating is limited. Additional information may be found at http://www.utc.edu/Academic/Music/Events.php
