About me

Abena joins News12 from Montana, where she spent a year working as a bureau reporter.

Abena is a native of Southern California and earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from California State University, Northridge. While attending CSUN, she worked in both radio and TV. She also won awards for Best Writer and Excellence in TV Journalism.

 Abena looks forward to experiencing “southern hospitality” and some good cookin!
