i don't believe any of them. Look they need to get a life and be honest and stop bullsing around. Mr Weeks is a liar, Mrs weeks is a drama queen. i the best interest of poeple trying to seek God's face they bothe need to just drop from the lime light for about a year and get their lives together. It is the word of God that gives authority. The word of God lets us know what is of God and gives discernment. There is no way people who do not know God and His word can recognize what is not of God. I think it is true that people who claim to be christians need to be in a local body of believrs. I am appalled. I knew she was out of order when the event happened and I knew she would not shut up and become submissive to him, but to say that he was her husband. A man finds a wife and not vice versa. I love the Lord and have been through many things, but it is pride that will not allow someone to reach down and pick someone up after a fall. It is also pride that will make someone call out ugliness in a time of anger to spark a reponse that is not Godly. Sure things happen in marriages that I am not pleased to say happens and we all have our faults, but a soft answer turns away wrath so we know that no soft words was being spoken and there was no submission. I agree 100% with you Former Global Destiny Son. If anybody watched Bishop Weeks latest comment where he explains that JB beat herself up you’ll see that this man is such a liar. We would all respect him more if he would just say "I made a mistake" and I repent. His actions and his lies affect not just the believers but the non-believers as well. There are many people who I've witnessed to that asked me about this event then asked me about his inability to HUMBLE himself and be honest. HEY BISHOP IT'S CALLED ACCOUNTABILITY. Step down and regroup you are in no condition to pastor a flock with a spirit of blame. The God we serve is too Holy for you to sit in the pulpit. In the old testament days Bishop you would have been struck dead and pulled out of the holy of holies by a rope. You continue to pastor with a prideful spirit too haughty to step down.

We as chritians are not beyond reproach. We make bad choices too. Only Jesus is perfect.There is always repentence. Im very dissapointed that we have continued with this mess. And allowed the media to continue by us continueing to comment instead of keeping ours mouths. Where are the elders, counselors, and the intercessors? This is totally out of order. God is not the author of confusion. We all fall short of the glory of god. And he who is without sin let him cast the first stone. For you perfect saints who has never been through anything. Weeks gave an interview last night on Fox5Atlanta and said he has never physically abused his wife in five years. Now, how do you explain the pictures the police took of the bruises on his wife? How do you explain the EYEWITNESS that had to actually pull Weeks off of his wife? I am shocked that Weeks would lie, knowing there are pictures and eyewitnesses. Even Johnny Cochran, God rest his soul, would not be able to get Weeks out of this one. Weeks is a snake!!

He goes on and on about what went on in their relationship. Nobody cares about that and he's not going to court about what went on in his relationship. He's going to court for beating and strangling his wife. Nobody cares about why they met or what her financial situation was at the time.

Shame to the devil. The Bible rightly said, "Satan is the father of all liars." This means when a man tells a lie Satan automatically becomes his father. You know what? The devil has a way of disgracing children of God who deviates. He makes you tell another lie to cover the previous lie. What an absolute wickedness. Well,Bishop Weeks at this point, should desist from speaking in the public about his relationship with his estranged wife. Both should seek the face of God and cry for repentance. Whatever may have happened, both have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. We all make mistakes though, but Bishop Weeks, you need to read and meditate on the scriptures in 1Timothy3:1-8. A word is enough for the wise.

The police didn't take the pictures. According to the police report given by a nurse at the hospital, Juanita Bynum refused to wait for the police to come and take pictures. If you look closely at the photos, you'll see that they have been doctored. Any person that uses Photoshop on a regular basis can tell right away that the photos have been digitally edited, poorly I might add. The one of the bruises on her neck is nothing but a paintbrush filter with a reddish brown streak. There are no shadow contrasts or anything, they're fake.

Juanita Bynum can't be considered a poster child for abuse as there are so many children who have died of abuse but are not famous..These little ones go un noticed and their families are broken hearted and many adults who suffer abuse do not make it. I work with abused children and to even put Juanita Bynum and this issue as any type of poster for abuse is completely out of line. DO YOU REALIZE THESE PEOPLE ARE MAKING MORE MONEY IN SIN THAN THEY DID PROFESSING TO SERVE GOD? The truth will come out if they are taken out of the limelight and left in their darkeness. Then they will either repent or walk away into what they served all along.

I was reading last week as a reminder from the Holy Spirit to be on guard. It all started to my remembrance with President Clinton and it has trinkled on down from there, Jesse Jackson, Billy Cosby, O.J, Dog the Bounty Hunter, Don Imus, Juanita and Bishop Weeks, Greediness in the mega churches, not paying taxes and obtaining their 501c3's, false witness, false prophesies etc and many other things I don't have the time to mention.

The bible was written for the children of God to follow, not just memorize and beat other people up with it.
We should be walking in love, and we should follow the word of God. Not just go by our feelings and do what we want to do. This means we are not being lead by God we are being lead by our own feelings and emotions.
God is not in any of that, He is waiting for us to repent and then He can use us again.
Some people are disconnected but they don't know they are running on their own supply not God's.

We can all spaculate about what happened with bynum and weeks and some of what we spaculate could be true. However, I don't believe it is our place to blame anyone or question someone's anoiting. Why do you think God said let the wheat and tares grow up together? because if it was left up to humans or the angels looking at outter appearances none of us would make it to heaven.
Many people question why bynum didn't know this event was going to take place. If God would have warned her truely she would not have gone through with it. This was a trial that the two of them had to go through and don't be fooled; you and I are being judged to. God is looking to see how the people who profess is name is responding to this situation. Are we typing up negative things about people as if our lives was without fault, or are we praying for the both of them as well as ourselves that we may not fall into temptation.

I agree with you. Shut up if you cannot quote and interpret the scriptures correctly. Mrs. Bynum-Weeks should remember those days of evangelism in the Bahamas when she called up several persons to give $1,000.00 for her wrought iron bed. she claims the Lord requested this. I have always been taken aback by her style of teaching as it was self centered and got the body of Christ all roused up only to feel drained (Spiritually and financially) after she left. While we look to our leaders for guidance, we should realize that they are humans and will fall prey to the viles of the devil sometimes. The church will always be under attack because we preach a sound doctrine about the KING who has yet to come. One who will destroy all and set up his kingdom once again.

I must say you need to get a better understanding of the word were in the bible, can you read that God say that your first wife is the only one, this is how people get all messed up by someone who cannot read and understand the word of God. I have never heard anything like this before. Saul was anointed at one time but he was no longer anointed when the Spirit of God left him. That is what anointed means is to be endowed with the Spirit and/ or His ability and power. It is possible to lose the anointing.

The scripture clearly tells us that the “anointing” or Spirit left Saul. Therefore, he was not the anointed of God. So we should stop using him as an example of “Touch not the LORD’s anointed.”

I am sure that Bishop Weeks was not “anointed” of God when he beat, kicked and stomped on his wife. If he was anointed, it was not the anointing of the Holy Spirit. It had to be some other “evil anointing.” Therefore he too would not be an example of “Touch not the LORD’s anointed.”

People need to stop this foolishness of protecting the false prophets that God is exposing. And stop twisting the Word of God to shield those he is exposing to be wolves amongst us. Use some “anointed” discernment.

Amen..Know the word of God that you can rightfully speak it..The annointing left Saul and Saul called upon a witch to bring back Samuel..This is not working in any annointing but trying to justify sin...God hates sin..Be careful who you call a prphet and who has annointing..Prophets do not live in mansions but when they speak people know it is from God..Prophets do not ask for money for when God sends them..God takes care of their needs..A prophet is humble before the Lord..as they are servants..I love what was written above about using scripture out of context, there is so much of it and people who do not know God nor His word will perish for lack of knowledge of His word. the reason for the many different opinions on what God says has nothing to do with the reality of God. it has to do with people not listening to what God says and trying to promote their own agenda. The spirit is one and does not tell two different stories. You and I can both see that bananas are yellow. but if someone else shows up to say that they are red, for whatever reason, it doesn't change the truth. This truth can surely be found in The Holy Bible, which is the authority of what God says.

to answer your question. In day in age no one is really listening to God. He left us his word, but instead of obeying certain laws that have been traditionally broken we choose to say that Gods laws especially his ten commandments are obsolete. Yes, Jesus did die over two thousand years ago. He died that we may live eternally. He took our sins to the cross with him. Once you ask Christ to come into your heart and forgive you of your sins, you are immediately saved.

What most people fail to realize that our spirit is saved. Now we need to work on our soul, our mind, our will. The Apostle Paul stated that we must die daily. Our flesh must die, so that the Spirit of Christ must live.

Fighting, cursing, lieing, stealing, and the list goes on, is not the will of God and too many Christians today fall into these categories. God is a prayer answering God. We need to listen to him daily and follow his plan for our lives.

I am sorry your are having a hard time. I pray that God will see you through.........or better yet your church will see you through. I agree. I was raised in the church.............taught to tithe. Ministers say give the church your first 10%, financial advisors day pay yourself first...............I've been wondering about this for a while. I also know of a brother who (here in Phoenix) gave generously and when he got Cancer........the church wouldn't help. I also have a problem with....why don't more churches develope......church credit union? for their members?........And there is the argument that we are not living under that 10% rule anymore......that's an old testement thing. I agree except for ONE thing: RREPENTANCE means a CHANGE in your ways. ALL have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Repent is to turn completely away from sin and not only will Jesus forgive but the sin you have committed will be remembered no mre as the Lord forgives completely. it is not nor has it ever been in our hands but in HIS hands. If there is anything we can all learn from this sad situation is that the love of God does not fail and that Christ Jesus died for all men and rose again to prove everything He promised is true. Pray that those who are living in this situation will not turn to the media but to the Lord who is able to save and to put right what man has done to themselves. We have all stood in sin at one time and found the Lord to be fiathful and true. may all who are struggling in sin be set free.

Yes it does not speak about suicide out plainly , but it state in Roman 12:1 Present your body a living sacrifice holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. Basically your life is not yours to take, you believe to the Lord. First of all if you have a personal relationship with God you would not even think of taking your life, second this relationship comes from spending time with God. It does not matter if you are serving God or not you take your life you will not spend everlasting life with him. God does not teach weakness. The natural and the spirit can not coexist with each other.

i think we all should be very careful when we read the bible...no where does the Bible endorse divorce..Moses wrote that 'law of divorcement in the old testament...even ehen he was questioned, even he said "divorce was never so even from the beginning..Jesus said the same thing in the New Testament when questioned by the individuals that were looking to be messy with info...god said whatsoever i have joined together, letno one interfere and break it up..well that also applies to the people that are in the marriage...how come we believe that God can heal cancer and sickness, but we don't believe he can heal marriages...either we believe he can do the impossible or he is unable to do anything...if you read further into the book of Mark, it staes that if the husband become an unbeliever, then the wife pray for himm...it also says that if the wife be an unbeliever, the husband pray for the wife...God never intended for the believers to divorce ...we ahave adopted a hollywood mentality towards our christianity and a dear price is being paid for it...we all need to read the Bible a little more carefully, because none of us have been given the authority by God to change what God initially breathed into the men of God that penned it
