Give Matt Damon a break.. He's just like us? Your kidding right? Some one needs to slapp the guy who even asked him for his opinion. When Matt Damon has to struggle with lifes real decisions like gas prices then I'll start to care about what his opinions are.

Matt Damon is an actor, but also a humble smart caring man.He carries himself well in interviews, he actively supports good causes, and when he got his Holly Wood star the first thank yous he gave out was to his mother for having him and his wife for giving him two beautiful daughters. I will all ways remember that.

Matt Damon & Palin

I agree with you all the way. I understand how Damon fills. THE LADY IS SCARY. I watched her with Gibson yesterday and it gave me chills. No wonder they did not want the press near her. To think that the republican party picked her just because she was a woman hoping to get women to come to his side is just plain sick. McCain has no concerns about this country only winning to feed his ego. If the republican party gets in again this country will have hell to pay because they have screwed the middle class for far to long while filling the fat cats and corporations pockets while we struggle everyyday just to put food on the table and pay high gas prices.
I had cancer last year and now my insurance is off the charts. This JUST cannot continue.

Kim & John - Damon's video

Kim & John - Damon's video will have done its intended job when your 18 year old daughter or 18 year old gay son sees it and goes and votes Democrat.
I'm not voting in another Oil company employee in the White House... thats for damn sure.

He is much more involved than most Americans and well studied. He is smart too (not Goodwill Hunting smart but smart none the less). Lay off him. He makes sense.

Why does the media always show the celebrity vantage point.
Matt Damon grew up in The Peoples Republic of Cambridge. There are no conservatives in Cambridge. Of course he has left sided views. . .
People really like Sarah because she is a smart woman that wears a dress. She does wear a pant suit with a bat collar. She has same experience as Barak, and he's up for the Top Job.
Whats wrong with conservative values? The family structure breakdown in this country is a Disney movie. The word "Father" is a word that is becomming uncommon.
Hillary would have never made the grade if she wasn't connected to Bill Clinton. She was humiliated and stayed with him. That is another Disney movie.
I hope more celebrities make fools of themselves by voicing their political views. I hope it costs them and their agents leading roles. I hope studios look at them as trouble and blacklist them.
Why is the general media so politically left?

So I suppose that all of his experience as an actor gives him the authority to make a political comment about Sarah Palin. He has already admitted he does not know anything about her, yet he sits in judgement. Typical comment coming from an overpaid actor who has nothing to worry about except what his next movie might be.....I am willing to bet it won't be a Disney movie.
I do not know Sarah Palin either, however, the few things I do know makes me want to support her over an also unknown Barack Obama.

People, listen. He's just doing what so many other citizens of this country are doing and he's questioning Palin's political experience because, as a US citizen, a taxpayer and father, he has concerns about the future of his country. He's just like the rest of us, really, he just happens to have a fancier job that allows him the opportunity to voice his concerns and opinions via the media. And really, when you think about it, many of us have the vary same opportunity to voice our feelings and concerns about the course of our country via the internet through blogging, video hosting sites, e-mails, etc. Give the guy a break b/c he's just another one of us, after all. Furthermore, would you be saying the same things about him if he were voicing similar concerns about Sen. Obama or Sen. Biden?

Matt is a U.S. citizen. He has every right to speak up. Just like you do. When Channel 12 goes around interviewing people, do they have the right to speak up? Matt has a right to be concerned because he has 8 weeks to make a judgement. He wants to separate the rumors from the facts so he can make an informed decision about which candidate is best.

Matt Damon did not tell you who to support he is only making a comment. We all are from the USA, country or no country. The republicans love to divide....

I think it sounds harsh when you firstheard it, but it really makes some very good points there. I'm not a political fan, but I agree when he said.
