Chattanooga Police Suspend Det. Kenneth Freeman For Wal-mart Incident

You say joke. I say JERK!!!! A man his size to put his hands on a 71 year old is stupid.What did freeman have in the bag he did not want to get caught with.I say he was shop lifting.He is a crooked cop.And a sorry one at that.

The greeter was not picking on black shoppers while letting white ones go.He was checking all bags.Watch the video.The other cop let the old man check his bag.Freeman stood behind his friend so close.You really could not tell who was who.Then in a hurry freeman takes to the door.The alarm goes off and the old man yells at him to stop so he can check his bag.Freeman does not do it.So the old man touches his arm and freeman goes off.Freeman would not have cared if the person would have been black or white.He would have done the same thing.To get out of that store with what ever he stuck in that bag he did not pay for.So you are the one trying to make this a race thing not the old man.He was just doing his job.The ones of us there still are wanting to know why freeman ran to his car and threw his bag in the trunk quickly.Makes you say huh right.Does me.

I, frankly, am surprised that Chatt PD did anything to the officer. Chatt is known for having a rogue PD with hot heads and many officers that take steroids. Watch the video and the officer was not in a defensive mode he was in attack mode. He took at least 6 steps following the old man. This officer needs more than 28 days off. He needs firing and prosecuting, but we all know this won't happen. There is always that line that protects cops. They are always above the law. Look for how many cops are ever written speeding tickets while off duty.

Linda you are trying to make a joke here.Or you are the wife or girl friend of this punk.If you are the girl friend.Did he shove you to the computer like he did the old man.Or did he smack you around like he would have done the old man if it had not been for some one getting him out of the store.He is why people hate and have no respect for the law officers.Fire and punish him the same as you would me.

You make no sense!!!! Why should they not be allowed to ask a cop the see a receipt.They are human just like us.Does that gun and badge make them better than us.They think it makes them a god!!!!Why should we ask the girlfriend of a cop.What are these guys trained.Knock the hell out of anyone you do not agree with.This so called cop pushing a 71 year old man.Makes him a real big man right.It makes him a thug with a chip on his shoulder.Who sooner or later will end up hurting some one or killing them.He does not need any classes at all.What he needs is FIRED and then arrested and found guilty of assault.And then to spend some time behind bars!!!!! There is some good cops out there.But they are also thugs that are giving a gun and badge that will end up hurting some one real bad.I hope and pray the 71 year old man pushes this to the very end.And make him pay.If the police dept.does not do anything.If i was him i would call in the TBI or FBI.I would take it as far as I could.And show these punks they are no better than we are.Hell my kids have got toy badges and I have a gun.Does that make it were I can go and push and bully who ever i want and get away with it.28 days of no pay.The pay should be behind BARS!!!!!!!!!

This man should be fired!!!!! If you look at the tape, the Wal-Mart greeter was thrown off his feet, and with him being 71 years old he could have easily broken or bruised his bones. Police officers are supposed to protect and serve, on and off duty!!! Kenneth Freeman did not do that, instead he acted like a mad man. Everyone knows when you leave Wal-Mart and the alarm goes off or if you do not have something in a bag, the greeter will stop you and ask to see your receipt, if you are not guilty of anything then you stop; but in Kenneth Freeman case he kept going, so was he stealing and did not want to get caught? If he acts like this in public, how do you think he will treat someone alone? This scares me and I feel the City of Chattanooga Police department needs to make an example of him
