Governor Sonny Perdue Prays For Rain in Georgia
Praying for Rain
Governor Sonny Perdue Bless You for obeying God! He will reward your prayers and they will be answered. We stand with you here in Texas and are praying also!
Let those who oppose you with their 'church and state' comments. You can't seperate God from the state and they can't make you. You are the Govenor God has hand placed to lead that great state of Georgia for such a time as this. The day will come when we all will stand before His throne, what will THEY have to say? What will their excuse be? How will they feel when the words are spoken to you, "Well done, my good and faithful servant, enter into the Joys of the Lord"? That is Home, this is travel.
I pray the strength of the Lord and His richest blessings on you and your family and your wonderful state.
Blessings,
Janell Coker

PRAYER FOR RAIN
Deuteronomy 11:13-14
It shall come about, IF you listen obediently to my commandments which I am commanding you today, to love the Lord your God and to serve Him with all your heart and all your soul, that He will give the rain for your land in its season, the early and late rain, that you may gather in your grain and your new wine and your oil. (16) ...do not turn away and serve other gods...(17) or the anger of the Lord will be kindled...and He will shut up the Heavens so that there will be no rain....
Thanks Sonny Perdue for believing God is faithful to those whose trust is in Him!!
I AGREE 100%... I am also
I AGREE 100%... I am also blessed to live in a state where the Governor is not ashamed of our Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ. We prayed and God sent rain. What could be better??
Govenor Perdue
It's RAINING!!! What a GREAT GOD we serve, who will exceed what we can even ask or think. I am blessed to live in a state where the GOVENOR knows who's he is and that there is nothing to be ashamed of in asking for divine help. Thank you Jesus!

Purdue prays
Govenor,
God, in His lovingkindness, sent GA rain. That was to let the world know that the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is the one true God who rules and reigns over all, including the rain. (Elijah and the prophets of Baal) You didn't get enough rain to sustain your land, but after all that dryness, rain did fall... What would keep you from holding a public prayer meeting daily in order to receive the rainfall you need in your state? Be a Daniel and call the people to repentance and acknowledgment of the One true God and His Son, Jesus Christ, without whom there is no access to the Father. Who knows what God would do for a nation with a remnant that was truly repentant and dependent on Him alone. (old testament/ nation of Israel)
