CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – Spring break is right around the corner for Hamilton County Schools, and places like the Creative Discovery Museum are more than prepared for the influx of visiting children.

Creative Discovery Museum still has a few spots open for their spring break camp, which parents can decide to take their kids for a whole week, a few days, or just one day. They’ll be welcoming in students all throughout the spring season for different schedules. Spring break runs Mon, March 16 to Mon, March 23.

This weekend, the Creative Discovery Museum is about to become even more colorful with their annual Holi Festival, also known as the Festival of Colors. The festival originates in India and South Asia and it celebrates the victory of good over evil, and color throwing represents new beginnings. At the Creative Discovery Museum, they will be celebrating with the tradition throwing of colors, along with additional activities.
