One arrest in a gang rape case in Ringgold from last year

RINGGOLD, Georgia (WDEF) – Two people in North Georgia have been indicted on charges of gang raping a juvenile female.

The alleged crime occurred last November in Ringgold.

Now one suspect is in custody and an arrest warrant has been issued for the second suspect.

One of the suspects who was indicted remains here at the Catoosa County jail after a warrant was issued for his arrest.

He’s been identified as 18-year old Destin Noble.

According to investigators, Noble and the second suspect identified as Brett Hardy sexually assaulted a juvenile near Alabama Highway in Ringgold.

The alleged victim told authorities she was at a friends party and left the party after Hardy and Noble gave her alcohol.

They all drove to an area near Alabama Highway where she says she was raped by both suspects.

Both men are facing charges of rape, child molestation and furnishing alcohol to a minor.
