Volkswagen says its Chattanooga/Hamilton county plant is right on schedule.

At a monthly briefing today at Enterprise South, Company CEO Frank Fischer reported that the search for production employees which began this week has already grown to more than 12,000 applications taken on-line.

Volkswagen just one of several companies expanding or building in area but job seekers need to be prepared to fill the spots.
