...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Alabama...

Paint Rock River NEAR Woodville affecting Marshall, Madison and
Jackson Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL EARLY MONDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Paint Rock River near Woodville.

* WHEN...Until early Monday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, Flood waters affect mostly bottomland
along the river...including low lying farm and pasturelands.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:00 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 14.9 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late this evening to a crest of 15.2 feet tomorrow morning.
It will then fall below flood stage tomorrow evening.
- Flood stage is 15.0 feet.

The National Weather Service in Morristown has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
Sequatchie County in east Tennessee...
Southwestern Bledsoe County in east Tennessee...
Eastern Marion County in east Tennessee...

* Until 1115 PM CDT.

* At 1030 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Gruetli-Laager to 10 miles southwest of Dunlap to
near Whitwell to near Lookout Mountain, moving northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
Dunlap, Whitwell, Powells Crossroads, Martin Springs, Cartwright,
Griffith Creek, Chimneys State Park, Hicks Gap State Park, Lone
Oak, and Palio.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Intense thunderstorm lines can produce brief tornadoes and widespread
significant wind damage. Although a tornado is not immediately
likely, it is best to move to an interior room on the lowest floor of
a building. These storms may cause serious injury and significant
property damage.
