DeKalb County Alabama deputies investigate murder in Kilpatrick
FORT PAYNE, Ala. (WDEF) – The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a murder case from the Kilpatrick community.
Deputies got a call around 9:40 Thursday morning of a possible home invasion at the home on Road 997.
When they arrived, they found a body in the home.
Sheriff Jimmy Harris isn’t releasing any other details about the case as hit investigators follow leads.
Sheriff Harris says “I would like to thank our deputies and investigators working this case alongside, the DeKalb County Drug and Major Crimes Task Force, Fort Payne City Police Department, Marshall County Sheriff’s Office, Geraldine Police Department, Crossville Police Department, and the DeKalb County District Attorney’s Office for their hard work they have already put into this case and the work they will do to close this case. Also a thank you to DeKalb Ambulance Service and Kilpatrick Volunteer Fire Department for their assistance.”
