Garage on Old Dayton Pike catches fire

HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) – A garage is a total loss after a fire Sunday afternoon.

A 911 call came in from a homeowner at 4:50 p.m.

The person reported a garage fire at 14252 Old Dayton Pike.

Sale Creek Volunteer firefighters responded and reported a detached garage on fire.

Firefighters contained the fire to the garage.

The home was not damaged, but the garage, valued at $55,000, is a total loss.

The cause of the fire is undetermined at this time.
