Police need your help identifying Waffle King jug thief

FORT PAYNE, Alabama (WDEF) Can you identify the man who made off with donation jugs at the Ft. Payne Waffle King?

It happened in the early morning hours on Sunday.

Around 3:50 AM witnesses say a man with a cane entered the restaurant on ordered three waffles.

He then went to the restroom.

When he came out, witnesses say he grabbed two jugs from the counter that were collecting money for sick employees.

He got into a black, four door vehicle driven by a woman.

The cook tried to confront the man, but the car sped away and knocked her down.

She suffered minor injures that required a trip to the hospital.
