Coin and Currency Show

This weekend hundreds made their way to the Camp Jordan Arena for the Coin and Currency Show.

Those who came were able to see thousands of different coins and currency from across the country.

Many of the pieces were up for sale, giving people a chance to snag some of the most rare coins in America.

Coin collector Charles Cataldo, said coins give him the chance to learn and teach others about their history.

“Coins are tied with history and I’ve always been a history buff. And so it just tied right in with the date of the coin would tell you when the coin issued and relate the time and period of when it was in use and what was going on in the country.”

The next Coin and Currency Show will be the first in weekend in November, held again at the Camp Jordan Arena.
