Developing Story: Chattanooga Police investigate home invasion Friday morning

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – Chattanooga police are investigating a home invasion at an apartment building that occurred this morning in the 7600 block of North Bishop Drive.

According to an occupant who lives in the apartment, three men knocked on the door and pretended to be Chattanooga Police.

He said when the door opened, his brother-in-law was confronted with a gun to his face and ordered to get down on the floor.

He said the three men demanded money but actually robbed the place of a television set, a video game and a cell phone. All three were reportedly wearing ski masks.

Police believe the suspects escaped in a Gray Nissan Altima.
