Gun incident at the Pin Stripes Bowling Alley
CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – A video is circulating on Facebook that shows a gun incident at a crowded bowling alley Tuesday night.
We’ve received numerous reports from viewers concerning an incident at Pin Stripes on Lee Highway and Highway 153.
The cell phone video shows a large crowd hanging out last night, when someone, who appears to be a teenager, pulls out a gun.
You can see a person wearing blue jeans frantically try and get out of harms way as someone in the crowd screams.
Another person then runs over and tries to confront the gunman, before his friends pull him back.
A source tells News 12 — Chattanooga Police had been called disperse the crowd around 8pm last night, after talk of a fight made the rounds.
Our source says announcements were also made over the P-A system for anyone under the age of 18 without a parent or guardian on hand to leave.
That obviously didn’t happen — and our source says the gun incident occurred about 30-minutes after officers left the business.
We’re told some arrests were made and we’re working to verify that.
