WHITFIELD COUNTY, Ga. (WDEF) — The Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) conducted a traffic stop on I-75 in Whitfield County, resulting in 12 kilograms of cocaine being discovered.

The traffic stop occurred on October 19th with the help of Georgia State Patrol and Drug Enforcement Administration.

During the traffic stop, WCSO Narcotics Investigators found Misael Albarran to be in possession of 12 kilograms of cocaine.

Misael was taken into custody and charged with:

  • Possession of cocaine
  • Possession of cocaine with intent to distribute
  • Trafficking cocaine

He has been transported to the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office and is being held with without bond.
