Authorities investigating cause of East Brainerd house fire

HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) — A home in East Brainerd caught fire on Wednesday afternoon and authorities are investigating to determine the cause.
The fire happened at a house in the 7100 block of Revere Circle at around 3:15 p.m.

When firefighters arrived, they found heavy smoke coming from the home.
They then found the fire in the garage and on an exterior wall.
When the house caught fire, one person was at home. However, they were able to escape before Chattanooga firefighters arrived. No one was injured.
