17 year old arrested after chase

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – Chattanooga Police have unraveled the chain of events that led to a chase on Hickory Valley Road and an arrest in East Ridge last night.

They say it started when a 17 year old male took a rental vehicle from a woman he knew.

In the process, he hit her with the vehicle as he fled, but she wasn’t seriously hurt.

Police were called and spotted the teen in the vehicle.

But when they say he fled.

Police say he eventually ditched the first vehicle and got in with another male, which took off again.

Chattanooga and East Ridge Police found the two in an apartment complex in East Ridge.

The second man, Tredarius Hubbard, faces charges of evading arrest, reckless driving and window tint violation.

The 17 year old faces charges of aggravated domestic assault, theft, evading, reckless endangerment and a gun charge.
