2 year old hit and killed in crash on Wilcox Blvd Monday morning

UPDATE:

Chattanooga Police have arrested a suspect in the hit and run that killed the child on Wilcox Boulevard Monday morning.

They say 36 year old Anwoiane Calloway was pulling out of a Kanku’s parking lot when he hit the two year old.

He left the scene, but called from another nearby location to tell police he may have hit something.

Calloway faces charges of Leaving the Scene of an Accident with Death, Failing to Render Aid, Driving without Insurance, and Driving on a Suspended License.

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – Chattanooga Police are investigating a fatal crash that killed a 2 year old Monday morning.

Officials responded to the crash at the Shell gas station at the corner of Wilcox and Tunnel Blvd.

Police say they are searching for the person who hit and killed the child just around 11 am.
