3 teens arrested on Walnut St. Bridge

2 teens armed, 1 possessed marijuana

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — Chattanooga Police arrested three male teenagers on the Walnut Street Bridge over the weekend.

A witness told police there were suspicious people on the bridge, who might be armed. Officers responded just before 10 p.m.

When they arrived, officers found a group of teens, who fled when they approached.

CPD did stop and arrest the teens.

Police said they found firearms and narcotics on those arrested.

They arrested a 16-year-old, a 17-year-old and a 19-year-old.

The 19-year-old arrested is identified as Deizmon Gladden, according to police. They charged him with possession of stolen property, evading arrest, resisting stop/arrest, and unlawful carrying/possession of a weapon.

Police charged the 16-year-old with unlawful carrying/possession of a weapon.

They also charged the 17-year-old with disorderly conduct, resisting stop/arrest, and simple possession of marijuana.
