3 arrested in Fyffe meth bust
FYFFE, Ala. (WDEF) – A report made to the Fyffe Police Department about stolen property leads to the arrest of three people for meth.
When Fyffe Police and DeKalb County Deputies went to a home on County Road 44 near Pleasant Hill to look for the stolen property, they found the stolen property and a meth lab.
As a result, 30-year-old Jeremy Allen Whisenant and 46-year-old George Franklin, both of Fort Payne, were arrested and charged with Unlawful Manufacture of Controlled Substance 1st, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance.
36-year-old Jacqueline Yolanda Smith of Fort Payne was also arrested and charged with Unlawful Manufacture of Controlled Substance 1st, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and 2 counts of Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance.
DeKalb County Sheriff’s Deputies say this is an ongoing investigation pending further charges.
