RED BANK, Tenn. — Three arrests have been made in Red Bank involving child rape, sexual abuse and child endangerment.

The Red Bank Police Department (RBPD) says they received a complaint from a concerned family member on January 24, 2026.

The concern was that a female juvenile had been in communication with two male parties currently listed on the Sex Offender Registry.

An investigation revealed Jeremey Germaine Underwood and Gary Walter Whitt, both listed as Violent Offenders on the Sex Offender Registry, had engaged in inappropriate and illegal physical contact and communication with a victim under the age of 13 inside the City of Red Bank, the RBPD says.

They say Monica Jordan, the child’s guardian, allowed the suspects to visit and stay overnight in her home on multiple occasions despite being aware of the suspects status on the Sex Offender Registry.

The three subjects have been charged with the following:

Monica Jordan

1. Child Endangerment

2. Contributing to the Dependency of a Minor

Jeremey Germaine Underwood

1. Rape of a Child

2. Solicitation of a Minor

3. Exploitation of a Minor by Electronic Means

4. Violation of Community Supervision

This is an ongoing investigation.
