3 Dead, Firefighter Hurt In South Nashville House Fire
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) – Three people have died following an early-morning fire at a South Nashville home.
The incident was reported before 6 a.m. Wednesday on Southwood Drive, not far from Murfreesboro Pike.
Eight people were injured, including a Nashville firefighter, were injured in the blaze.
South Precinct detectives are joining the Fire Marshal’s office in the investigation of this morning’s fatal house fire on Southwood Dr. Three women died…13 persons were inside at the time of the fire. A residential recovery program operated at the house. pic.twitter.com/6lHYx4JPXX

Metro Nashville Police officials said 13 people were inside the home at the time. Three women later died as a result of their injuries.
