3 lawmakers on the ballot today in Tennessee have had legal issues during the campaign

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) – A campaign season that has been marked by sexual harassment allegations, stolen yard signs and physical altercations between candidates draws to a close when the primary polls close on Thursday evening.
The state attorney general’s release of a scathing report about sexual harassment allegations against Rep. Jeremy Durham caused the Franklin Republican to suspend his campaign – but not to drop out. Several top Republicans have swung their support behind challenger Sam Whitson.
In Shelby County, longtime state Rep. Curry Todd was jailed for refusing to meet with investigators over stealing yard signs. He was bailed out by opponent Mark Lovell, whose campaign had recorded the lawmaker taking the signs.
And in Knoxville, Rep. Marin Daniel was charged with assault for allegedly shoving challenger Steve Hall during a candidate forum.
