30 Miles of Bad Road on I 75
The drive along I 75 in northwest Georgia is no easy road. Drivers complain about loose chunks of asphalt flying up and hitting their vehicles. There are deep ruts and potholes.
Now officials in Whitfield County are trying to get the state to do something about it, both short term and long term. They hope to at least get some patching work done soon between Dalton and Ringgold. But GDOT says the plan is to completely repave the interstate from Whitfield County to the Tennessee line. They just don’t have the money.
