400 acres to be burned in Rising Fawn, Ga

GEORGIA — 400 acres will be burned today in a controlled burn, according to the Dade County Emergency Management.

They say the burn will take place off of Hatfield Road in Rising Fawn across from the Pilot.

They ask individuals not to report the burn.

Controlled burns can help reduce the dry vegetation that fuels wildfires.
