Alabama teacher arrested on sex charges against two young males

SCOTTSBORO, Alabama (WDEF) – A school teacher in northeast Alabama has been arrested on several sex abuse charges.

52 year old Scotty Berlin Baugh from Gurly was arrested Monday afternoon.

Jackson County officials say he taught at Woodville High School, southwest of Scottsboro and another school in the county.

From the charges filed, it appears there are two victims.

The charges include sodomy and fondling of a male.

There is also a fifth charge of sexual contact with a student.

One media report says one of the incidents in question goes back several years.
