$53,000 in meth found in Polk traffic stop

BENTON, Tennessee (WDEF) – A short chase ended with a major drug bust in Polk County on Saturday.

Deputies tried to pull a vehicle over but it ran.

But they chased him down soon afterwards and found a large amount of drugs in the vehicle.

It added up to a pound of meth and $700 in cash.

Officers put the value of the drugs at $53,000.

Randy Earl Greene faces several felonies, including Evading Arrest and Possession of Methamphetamine for Resale.
