71 year old woman shot in East Chattanooga

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – Chattanooga Police are investigating the shooting of a 71 year old woman early Monday morning.

It happened on Olive Street in East Chattanooga around 5:39 AM.

Investigators believe she was hit by gunfire from a moving vehicle.

They describe her injury as non life threatening.
