84 year old driver dies from October 8th wreck in Harrison

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — An 84-year-old man who was seriously hurt in a crash earlier this month, has died from his injuries.

The wreck happened at 5830 Highway 58 on October 8.

Chattanooga police have not yet released the victim’s name.

They say he was heading south on Highway 58 near Central High in his Ford F-150.

He tried to turn left, but didn’t yield, and pulled into the path of a Kia Forte.

They collided, sending the pickup truck driver to the hospital with critical injuries.

He died from those injuries, Tuesday.

Police are still investigating the crash.
